My research interests are primarily centered on machine learning. I am particularly interested in content based analysis where intelligent processes understand the inputs and produce a description in terms of constituent objects. Here are some of the places I've worked at in the past:

Computer Vision Developer - MeCommerce, San Francisco (2012-14)
Worked on research and development of 3D computer vision algorithms. My focus was on developing algorithms to extract the 3D information about the human body from 2D photos.

I worked on developing advanced computer vision applications for mobile phones and tablets based upon NVIDIA Tegra processors. More specifically, I worked on vision based augmented reality for NVIDIA Tegra tablet running Android OS.
Internship - Qualcomm, San Diego (Summer 2010)
Worked on video content analysis for the multimedia team. It was centered on transmitting video and data to portable devices such as mobile phones and personal televisions, used for mobile television. Developed an algorithm for analyzing the video content and calculating the rendered frame rate of the video decoder.
Internship - Microsoft Research, Bangalore, India (Summer 2008)
Worked on developing a real-time isolated word recognizer. Used various signal processing and classification methods to problems in knowledge-based speech recognition and user-identification using face image and spoken password.
Research Assistant - Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India (Summer 2007)
Developed a line-following robot. The work included developing the embedded systems and coding in C. GUIs were built for real time communication with the laptop.
